This afternoon I’ve completed the first draft of Casca 47: The Viking. Will now spend the rest of July proofreading, correcting and getting it ready for the publishers.
I was on holiday in Vienna between 2nd and 9th June and here is me writing a chapter in the new Casca story, The Viking, in Augarten Park. Behind me is one of the flak towers built by Hitler’s Germany during WW2.
Well, I’ve done the deed, and its not that painful. A few slots have increased in price by a few pennies, but this has given me the chance to do a real big all-in makeover and in fact a lot of the bigger package prices around the world have actually dropped. So its a case of swings & roundabouts.
I have just been informed that postal costs are rising with effect from Monday 27th March. A quick glance at the prices seems to indicate the costs are going up for UK and Europe slightly but not for the rest of the world (America, Asia, Africa, Australasia). Therefore if you want to buy your copy of Casca 46 at the old price get your order in now before Saturday morning as that’s when I’m putting up the prices.
Paperbacks have arrived – I am posting the advance orders. Come to the website shop and buy your copy now! http://www.casca.net/shop
The ebook/kindle of the new Casca novel is now available from all Amazon sites. The paperback will be available from me by the end of March, and you can pre-order your copy in advance now from the website shop.
The next Casca novel after The Cavalryman (due out in March) will be The Viking, and this will be released in September 2017. The draft artwork has already begun and here’s a taster for you.
Casca 46: The Cavalryman is off to the publishers today. Hopefully it’ll be ready by mid-March. Its all about Custer’s Last Stand and the events leading up to it (it is in fact a sequel to Casca 17: The Warrior).
